    Enjoy long meals around the dining table, challenge each other to a game of pool or table tennis, or unwind in the lounge after a day exploring the fells. And with Keswick's market square just a two-minute walk away, you have the best of the town and the Lake District right on your doorstep

    The Tall House combines the character of a Victorian home with the space and comforts you need for a group stay.

    With 8 bedrooms, a large self-catering kitchen and a separate dining room, there’s plenty of room for everyone to settle in and make themselves at home.

    Every bedroom has its own en-suite or dedicated bathroom, with flexible sleeping arrangements to suit families, friends and groups of different ages.

    Downstairs, you’ll find a spacious lounge, large dining room and games room with pool table and table tennis — perfect for relaxing together after a day out in the Lakes.

    And when you’re ready to explore, Keswick, Derwentwater and the surrounding fells are right on your doorstep. There’s also free on-street parking, and the vibrant market square is just a two-minute walk away.

We chose to rebook because it is an excellent property for a large group, offering plenty of space and comfort for everyone.   • Loads of Room for Big Groups

    This was such a great house to stay in for a big group and the dining room was perfect for hosting a large dinner party! The location was ideal for getting to local pubs and parking was easy for 4 cars! Would definitely recommend for big groups staying and so great to have a bathroom in almost every bedroom!

    Absolutely perfect for our families to have space to come together at meal times and for games and also enough space for us to have room to chilll out in different rooms. Superb big dining table perfect for eating, drinking and for games. Location ideal for walking to Keswick and the lake.
