Fitz Park and Hope Park are two of the most beautiful parks in the Lake District and both are only a few minutes’ walk from The Tall House. In Fitz Park you can enjoy traditional park games such as lawn bowls, grass tennis or pitch and putt at the excellent Café HNW. An outdoor stage with live music makes this a great place to while away an afternoon in the sunshine. Café West at Keswick Museum is within sight of the children’s play park, which is always a hit with kids. A flat, circular path around the park makes for an easy scenic allowing you to enjoy views of the fell tops and the river Greta.
